Glass Glitter Napkin Rings

Hi y’all!

Now that it’s almost Fall, I am slowly adding a few seasonal things to the house.

While I am still pondering what kind of table centerpiece I want to do, I went ahead and made my version of napkin rings for the table.

Personally, I am not usually a fan of regular store bought napkin rings and I wanted something that was more of a homemade style than traditional rings.

So I got to crafting.

imageTo make these, I bought two bags of assorted little wooden tags at the craft store, and some brown ribbon.

I used Miss Mustard Seed’s German Glass Glitter¬†in Tiara to add some sparkle.

I also used some vintage book page scraps left over from my friend Lauren’s snowman project, yes, we saved paper scrapes, we waste nothing friends!

Then I simply glued the paper to each tag (I used the tags with holes on each side so I could thread them on the ribbon)  and then I brushed some glue around the edges of the tags and sprinkled them with the glitter glass.

That’s it!

I made six of these in less than 30 minutes.

  1. Hi Karen, once again our paths seem to be crossing. I ordered the exact same glass glitter from Amazon on Friday! Won’t be making napkin rings with it, but we do seem to running on parallels. :} Your napkin rings look great for your fall table! Have a great day. Lynn

    1. Kendra, thank you so much for the compliment and for sharing your party information! I am so happy to add a link with you!

  2. I love pretty napkin rings, but the prices of the ones I really like are outrageous! This is an easy and inexpensive project and your rings are beautiful. Thank you!
