Holiday Hallway

Holiday Hallway and Holiday Homes Blog Hop

Hey friends!

I hope that y’all have had some time to enjoy the holiday season so far! It’s been busy here with parties and decorating and even an early visit from Santa! If you follow me on Instagram, then you know exactly what he brought. I love that Santa!

Anyway, today I’m joining a fantastic group of bloggers to share one room of our house for the Holiday Homes Blog Hop! Don’t you just love seeing how other people decorate? I always love looking at the other ladies homes because they are so creative and always inspiring! Today, I’m showing you the space outside of our master & guest bedroom and then you can check out all the beautiful inspiration from the other 20 bloggers below!

This is the area between our master and guest bedrooms. We have family coming in on Christmas day to stay with us for several days and I wanted to give this area a cozy winter holiday feel, so I created a mini winter themed gallery wall.

It was super easy to put together with things that I already had. I centered everything around two pictures that I took last winter after it had snowed. I just went to the closest photo center and printed the pictures from my phone and then framed them with frames that were on hand. I mixed in some winter wall art, holiday greens, rustic wood & metal textures and a cozy throw.

  1. Karen, I love that you decorated your hallway. It was such a great idea to take winter pictures and hang them up to decorate with. Your hallway looks beautiful! Pinned:). I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas with your family. Merry Christmas!

  4. So very pretty! I love that stag’s head on the rustic wood plaque! I am using stag’s heads as a primary element of my tablescape for Christmas dinner. Your photographs are so beautiful and really tell the story of your home decorations for Christmas. Question…did you replace other pictures with your Christmasy signs or just put those up for the holiday and if you did, do you just use Command hooks for those? I hope I can be included in your holiday home blog hop next year! The house will be [mostly] done by then! Merry Christmas!
