Happy Holidays!

Today I am joining a  big group of my blogging  friends for the 2015 Holiday Home Tour Blog Hop and the Jennifer Rizzo Holiday 2015 Housewalk.

It was so sweet of Sharon from Pretty Practical Home to put this all together and if you want to see beautiful, be sure to check out her holiday house! There is a super convenient list of links at the bottom.

It’s been a full week of these amazing Holiday Home Tours and if  you’re stopping by from Around the Watts House, welcome!

If you’re new to the blog, I’m Karen and I’m thrilled that you’re here. If you are a regular follower, thanks so much for coming back for part 2 of my Holiday Home Tour!

It’s so fun to go through these blog hops and see everyone’s take on holiday decorating and how they use their own personal style to make their home special for the holidays! This is the second year for us in this house and I’m happy to be sharing how I decorate it with a quick tour our entryway and living room.

My husband and I are pretty casual and our home is a reflection of that. We are definitely a “have a seat, grab a blanket and a drink, don’t mind the dogs in your lap” kind of house and friends are always welcome!

  1. Karen,
    Gorgeous Christmas decor, dear friend!!!
I love all the natural elements of pine cones and twigs intertwined with the touches of mercury silver!!!
    Stunning pillows and throws!!!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!!!

  2. Your home is gorgeous, Karen! I love all the natural elements throughout your home. It looks effortless and welcoming. My favorite part of your tour is the pine cone urn pillow. Where did you find that? I believe I “need” one for myself, and I don’t ever like holiday pillows. (Or own any–I’m a minimalist like you.) I’d make an exception for that pillow!

  3. Hi Karen! I love it all, but especially your garland! Everything seems very nature inspired which I would’ve expected for your area:) Happy Christmas!

    1. Thanks Jessica! It’s funny that you said “practical” thats pretty much how I consider my style compared to other blogs. no magazine covers here, ha!

  4. Absolutely beautiful Karen! I love all of the natural elements throughout, and I’m sooooo jealous of that roaring fire in your fireplace. We’ve yet to light one in our home, and we’ve been here for three years! Going to make it a priority very soon!

    1. Thanks Iris! Following you is super intimidating! It’s so kind of you to always stop by and give encouragement!
Now, about those fires…they are pretty and when people come over they love them, but your entire house will smell like it after! I hate that part and fuss at my husband when he lights them! I use lots and lots of fabreeze the next day!

    1. Thanks you so much Sara! You are so kind! I love that big old chippy frame too! It’s one of the few things around here that I never change :) thanks so much for stopping by and happy holidays!
