Well, what a blizzard! That was about one winter’s worth of snow in one weekend! But the weather has warmed up a bit, the snow has started to melt and I’m back to thinking about spring and an Early Spring Kitchen Mantel. Even though it’s about 7 weeks away, time flies and it will be here before we know it!
I recently gave my kitchen mantel a refresh, and I went straight to lighter and brighter colors. I put together my Early Spring Kitchen Mantel with things that I had, and a few new pieces.
I centered all the colors around this owl cookie jar that I bought at Anthropologie 2 years ago. Coral (which I am crazy about this year) blue and cream. The new pieces that I added are also from Anthropologie. This post is not sponsored by them, I just like their stuff (who doesn’t ?).
I really liked these Enamel Candle Holders in Cream from Terrain but I didn’t want to buy a lot of new things, so I spray painted some silver plated candle holders that I remembered I had (I picked them up at the thrift store last year) to got the style that I was looking for.
They aren’t exactly the same, but they turned out to be a great “look for less” and saved me $50!
To keep everything light and bright, I added some of my thrift store ironstone plates,
New colorful latte bowls,
Dried hydrangea left over from my Fall Entryway,
And a couple of new Anthropologie Monogram Mugs, along with a measuring cup that I bought with the cookie jar, are full of color and print.
The Earthenware Latte Bowls are from Anthropologie in the color “Parchment” and “Sky Blue”. They aren’t just pretty, they are usable too. So, money well spent.
That’s my happy, light and fresh
Spring Kitchen Mamtel.
Are y’all ready for spring or what?
Have a great weekend!
